Every item in your wardrobe doesn’t need to be expensive. It’s about piecing together all the right items so that you can adequately express your personal style.
I frequently pair together bargain buys with my favorite designer pieces and call it a day. If you look put together, and exude confidence, no one will think twice!
I, personally, find myself spending good money on timeless, quality pieces…bags, watches, suits…and bargain hunting for the more trendy, seasonal items in my wardrobe. Today’s wardrobe is a perfect example (inspired by my mood board below).
Can you tell what’s expensive and what’s not? You might be surprised!
The high end items are my favorite Michael Kors bag, and my Tory Burch flats. I paired them with my go-to pair of leggings from Zara, and a fun blouse from Forever 21. And finally, my bubble necklace – I shamelessly bought it on eBay for a tenth of the actual JCrew price!
Shopping in New York is expensive, and some of the $$$$ price tags can seem overwhelming. But by splurging on high quality core pieces, and saving money on the fun items, you can complete your look without completely breaking the bank!
