Welcome to the all new … A New York Love Affair.
Today is the one year anniversary of my little slice of internet, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!
Never in a million years did I think I would stick with it, but I’m so glad I did. This blog has had such an unexpected impact on my life. I’ve noticed transformations in my confidence, my style, and even in my writing voice … I pay much closer attention to the world around me, trying to capture moments and memories in the pages of this blog.
I thought the new year should have a new look that reflects this transformation. What do ya think?!
Major, major thank you’s are in order, for everyone that made this possible.
To Olivia Lansing Herrick, thank you for designing the most perfect logo for my new site. You were able to take my “all over the place” ideas and capture them in one glamorous design. I could not be happier with the final outcome.
To Amanda O’Brien, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for designing the perfect home for A New York Love Affair. The website is more than I could have ever asked for, and I had the best time working with you on it. Thank you for understanding my vision, making it a reality, and putting up with me during the process.
To my photographers, you know who you are… thank you for capturing these moments, and bringing your creativity to each and every shoot. I think this blog has come a loooong way since my first selfie, and a lot of that is a credit to you!
To my readers, thank you for your continued support and readership. You’ve encouraged me to keep sharing, experimenting, and pushing my creative boundaries. I’m grateful that you continue to come back each and every post!
A few last thank you’s go out to my family, boyfriend Peter, and good friend Chelsey. Thank you for being my cheerleaders since the very beginning, and encouraging me to share my writing. Without you, this would still be a diary I kept to myself.
I encourage you all to take a look around, and let me know what you think! Thanks so much for all the support! It means the world. Excited to see what surprises the next year will bring…
