Brightly Colored Crops

Spring poked its head out to say ‘hello’ again this weekend! We are still a long way from blooming flowers and melted snow, but it was a nice reminder of what’s to come.

On Saturday, Peter and I jumped at the chance to walk around our future neighborhood … the Upper East Side. I just adore the shopping, brownstones, and little cafes that fill its streets, not to mention the close proximity to Central Park. It sounds a little silly, but we love to envision what our life would be like if when we live up there. Probably lots of weekends like this one, with late afternoon paninis, cappuccinos, and walks along Central Park.

The weather was perfect – warm in the sun, and a little crisp in the shade – so I didn’t hesitate to dip into my spring wardrobe for a change. Since “Day 8” of the #StyleMeMarch challenge was “Good Hair Day”, I had complete freedom with the rest of my outfit. I chose to wear a pair of bright pink crop pants with my favorite chambray, and accessorized with this amazing new necklace from Mindy Mae’s Market.
