Brightly Colored Crops

05

Spring poked its head out to say ‘hello’ again this weekend! We are still a long way from blooming flowers and melted snow, but it was a nice reminder of what’s to come.

On Saturday, Peter and I jumped at the chance to walk around our future neighborhood … the Upper East Side. I just adore the shopping, brownstones, and little cafes that fill its streets, not to mention the close proximity to Central Park. It sounds a little silly, but we love to envision what our life would be like if when we live up there.¬†Probably lots of weekends like this one, with late afternoon paninis, cappuccinos, and walks along Central Park.

The weather was perfect – warm in the sun, and a little crisp in the shade – so I didn’t hesitate to dip into my spring wardrobe for a change. Since “Day 8″ of the #StyleMeMarch challenge was “Good Hair Day”, I had complete freedom with the rest of my outfit. I chose to wear a pair of bright pink crop pants with my favorite chambray, and accessorized with this amazing new necklace from Mindy Mae’s Market.
