There’s your Sunday best, and then there’s your Easter Sunday best. I’ve always dressed up for church, but on Easter I wear the newest, brightest, and prettiest dress in my closet.
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved buying Easter clothes. As a young Greek girl, some of my most vivid memories are of going to church on Good Friday morning, helping decorate the Epitafio (want a Greek lesson? read this), and then heading over to the mall to buy my Easter outfit for the weekend. During my awkward phase, I’m certain I picked out some terrible ensembles, but I always walked into church feeling like a million bucks!
This year was no different. On Saturday I popped into JCrew for their 25% off sale, and fell in love with this yellow dress. As the newest, brightest, and prettiest dress in my wardrobe, and I knew it’d be perfect for Easter Sunday! I did a little color-blocking and paired it with pink accents and some fun floral heels.
What are some of your Easter traditions? Does anyone else buy a new outfit every year? Hope you had a great weekend!
