Cherry on Top

Thank you for the opportunity to work together. I look forward to seeing

Someone asked me the other day, “sundresses or winter coats?”. Initial reaction: no brainer – dresses. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I really only like sundresses for what they represent – sunshine and summertime! But in reality, they can be very one dimensional. Coats are much more fun to style, because they are part of a larger picture. Changing out the layers and accessorizing with different scarves and hats can give your winter coats much more versatility. That doesn’t mean I condone the cold! But it does characterize why I love draping myself in blanket scarves and knit hats so much!

When searching for the perfect knit accessories, I’ve been extremely partial to the pom pom beanie. There’s something so playful about them. Every time I see someone wear one I have to fight the urge to tap their head and say “boop!”. Peter had to yell at me while we were shooting because all I wanted to do was keep playing with the fur ball on mine! They are functional, fun, and add the perfect little touch to your look – like the cherry on top!

If you haven’t scooped up one of these winter knits for yourself, now’s the time to do it. Although it doesn’t feel like spring out there, the retail world is already pushing out next season’s lines, leaving all the winter accessories on major sale! Shop some of my favorites before they’re all gone:

Alright, now it’s your turn: sundresses or winter coats?

Thanks Megan!! I loved how it was very Burberry-esque (without breaking the bank!)

I vote coats every time – as long as the weather that comes with them isn’t too frigid!

Winter Coats! There is something so chic about a winter coat with a scarf. I love that I can throw on any old shirt and a comfy pair of leggings under a long pea coat, yet still look effortlessly fabulous!

Totally agree, Hayley! Since no one is going to see whats under this coat anyway, considering how cold its been!!
