I had a little Cinderella moment in Kate Spade. Let me tell you my fairy tale story…
A few weeks ago I was prepping for my Caravelle New York instagram takeover, which consisted of Peter and I running around Manhattan taking pictures at all my favorite New York spots. Naturally, my little tour of NYC would not be complete without a pit stop at one of my favorite shops, Kate Spade! We wanted to snap a picture of me trying on a pair of shoes while wearing my Caravelle watch, so I grabbed the first shoe that caught my eye.
Of course the whole store got into it! All the sales associates got involved, helping us stage the perfect shot. But the minute I slid my foot into these shoes, I knew I was in trouble. They were even more fabulous on … and there was a zero percent chance I was leaving Kate Spade without them.
Even though they are a bit on the playful side, they’ve definitely become a staple in both my work and play wardrobe. Black and white will always be a classic combination, and the red heel adds the perfect amount of sass without overpowering anything.

I wanted to put together an outfit where the shoes could take the much deserved center stage. I doubled down on the black and white theme, and added a subtle pop of red on my lips for a little extra sass. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m obsessed with vests this season, so I jumped at the chance to take my dramatic long duster out for another spin. In the end you’ve got a completely simple look that still manages to make a statement.
I may not have gained a Prince out of this fairy tale moment (I brought mine along with me…), but I did come home with this gorgeous pair of heels! What can I say … if the shoe fits …
